Tracy Clifton is a seasoned higher education professional with plus 20 years of experience in the field. Throughout her career in higher ed, Tracy has served as the Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life, Director of Student Conduct, Anger Management Specialist, Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Students, Civil Rights Investigator, Title IX Coordinator, and Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs. Tracy also served as the Chair of the Behavioral Intervention Team. In addition to her extensive experience in Student Affairs, Tracy has also worked within the technical college system as a training development director. With a focus on leadership, management, and customer service, Tracy worked to provide contract training for business and industry leaders.
Tracy has worked closely with Human Resources in many of her respective roles. This has enabled Tracy to effectively apply her knowledge and skill-sets to employee relations matters.
Tracy stays up-to-date on best practices in behavioral intervention and remains current on the ever-changing landscape of Title IX (including requirements as set forth in the 2020 regulations).
Tracy holds a Master of Science in Emergency Management, which works as a compliment to her experience in crisis management and threat assessment.
Based on first-hand experience, Tracy understands the impact of rapidly increasing caseloads and the long list of tasks that keep getting longer each day. Tracy's experience in leadership, management, and customer service works as a compliment to her education and extensive experience.
